Position Summary: The forklift operator is responsible for putting away, dropping down, and rotating full pallets of stock through the warehouse inventory reserve racks using a stand-up or sit-down forklift.

What you’ll do:

  • Maneuver Stand-Up, High Reach, or Sit-Down Forklift to put away or let down pallets into warehouse racks up to 46 feet high.
  • Picks/sorts and replenishes product from upper racks to front pick bins.
  • Unloads product from trailers using forklift trucks and powered riding pallet jacks.
  • Manually moves product from receiving dock to proper storage location.
  • Monitors and enforces safe product handling procedures.
  • Replenishes product from upper storage rack to lower pick bins within cooler.
  • Monitors product quality as product is being moved.
  • Breaks down pallets on receiving dock.
  • Maintains cleanliness (sweep, mop, restack pallets) of receiving docks and pick bin area.
  • Cleans and charges forklift at the end of shift.
  • Record daily actions by use of RF Scan Gun

About you:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2+ years of forklift experience.
  • Team player who works productively with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to pass a forklift operating exam.
  • Warehouse/distribution facility experience preferred.
