The Opportunity
This is a critical, newly created hybrid role born from significant department growth. The Regional Systems Manager is a high-impact position responsible for driving the growth of the Systems and Automation division. This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert for complex racking andmezzanine projects, requiring a professional who is actively involved in the sales cycle, technical design, and project management
The Location
This position can be based out of Valdosta or Macon, GA will consider Jacksonville, FL.To attract the best talent, relocation assistance is being offered.Must be okay with heavy windshield time (3-4 times per week).
What You Will Do
  • Drive the growth of material handling Systems & Automation product sales by participating in the sales cycle and teaming with Solutions Consultants.
  • Create and design warehouse systems and racking solutions to optimize clients' internal processes.
  • Present and explain financial benefits, including ROI, to customers for proposed systems.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Racking, Mezzanine, shelving, and allied equipment projects.
  • Collaborate with the Auto-CAD team to produce accurate drawings and read, audit, and approve blueprints for current projects.
  • Manage the timely delivery of all project correspondence, including drawings, letters, equipment lists, and purchase orders throughout the full project life cycle.
  • Local travel to customer sites throughout the project life cycle for presentations, installations, and to maintain positive relationships.
  • Travel locally to customer sites for presentations, installations, and relationship maintenance.

90-Day Success Roadmap
  • Complete initial onboarding to understand the company's 70-year history, product lines, and the specific goals of the Systems and Automation division.
  • Establish working relationships with the leadership and the Solutions Consultant team to begin integrating into active sales cycles.
  • Review all current and pending warehouse design projects, including a deep dive into existing AutoCAD drawings and client blueprints.
  • Conduct initial site visits to key customer locations to assess ongoing installations and identify potential optimization opportunities.
  • Begin leading technical presentations for prospective clients, focusing on demonstrating ROI for complex racking solutions.

Who You Are
  • 3-5 years of experience in material handling and equipment sales with a proven track record of growth is required.
  • Possess deep knowledge of the material handling or static warehouse solutions industry, including racking and mezzanine systems.
  • Skilled in working with basic financials and proving profitability to customers through ROI.
  • Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of systems and automation.
  • Advanced knowledge of CAD technology with the ability to read, audit, and approve blueprints.
  • A strategic, analytical, and creative thinker with consultative abilities to identify customer requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
