Job description

POSITION SUMMARY This is an entry level position within the warehouse operations department. The employee prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders within an assigned area or department. Benefits: $18.00/HR HEALTH INSURANCE: MEDICAL, DENTAL, VISION, LIFE INSURANCE, PTO: VACATION, SICK AND HOLIDAYS

SCHEDULE: 6AM-10AM START TIME, WEEKENDS REQUIRED, FLEXIBILITY TO WORK OVERTIME IS IMPORTANT FOR THIS POSITION. Load route trucks and semi-trailers with battery-operated forklift and /or pallet jack, moving product in and out of the warehouse as required. Assist shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to sales associates for processing.

Ensures items are stored in an orderly and accessible manner. Assembling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocating orders to a holding area or shipping department. Assisting in counting of physical inventory.
