Job description

We have established exceptionally generous piece pay rates for those who want to work safe, hard and accurate for your money and get home to your family to enjoy your evenings.  As a fully trained Warehouse Selector, you can expect to make between $50,000-60,000+ yearly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must operate various warehouse equipment safely and complete an equipment evaluation daily each time different equipment is in use or exchanged.
  • Report any equipment issues immediately to direct supervisor.
  • Required to meet 97% productivity standards according to a scanned cases per hour tracking system.
  • Required to meet 100% scanning expectation for every item of product selected.
  • Selecting orders according to the time they are to dispatch
  • Entirely shrink wrap completed pallet orders and stage in reverse loading order
  • Consistent cleanup when selecting orders picking up labels, trash, plastic, and wood chunks etc.
  • Cut away plastic wrap from newly stocked pallets and remove empty pallets from pick slots stacking them in the isle way to be removed
  • Must maintain and apply safety awareness for all work associates at all times
  • Operate various models of warehouse industrial forklift equipment safely
  • Ability to identify and discriminate between different SKU numbers/barcodes of specified products to be moved, picked, stocked, or shipped
  • Other duties as needed in processing customer orders and small package shipments
  • Any other warehouse duties as assigned

Experience and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma preferred or GED accepted.
  • Ability to communicate and comprehend math, spelling and reading of various forms to ensure accurate records required.
  • Previous warehouse and freezer picking experience (preferred)
  • Highly driven self-starter.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to continuously walk the warehouse floor, cooler and freezer for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to stand, bend, reach and also to lift up to 100 lbs. repetitively
  • Warehouse environment with noise, dust, odors, and a diversity from very warm to very cold temperatures.
  • Move around facility during a minimum 8-hour shift
  • Warehouse environment with various temperatures that include freezer, cooler, and dry
  • Able to work in an environment with smells, dust, noise, and withstand frozen warehouse temperatures around (-5 degrees F) for extended periods of time
  • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disability to perform the essential functions.
