Overview

The Picker/Packer - Pick-to-Light will perform a variety of functions in the Distribution Center. This includes picking, packing, assembly and other duties as assigned

This is a full-time position. Work schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of functions within the distribution center including picking, packing, stocking, assembly, imprinting, stacking/unstacking products, shipping orders, and cycle counting, as assigned. 
  • Rotate from task-to-task within the distribution center as workload dictates. 
  • Clean work area removing pallets, boxes, paper, plastic, and banding. 
  • Perform other distribution work functions as workload dictates.  
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, or GED, preferred
  • 1 year experience picking/packing, preferred
  • Proficient in clear communication (written & verbal) and active listening to follow directions accurately, coordinate with team members, and ensure efficient completion of assigned distribution center tasks. 
  • Basic understanding of problem solving, applied math, time management, and relationship building to perform core warehouse activities with accuracy, contribute to smooth operations, and support team objectives. 
  • Proficient in adaptability to rotate between multiple functions such as picking, packing, stocking, assembly, and cycle counting based on workload demands. 
  • Proficient in attention to detail to maintain quality standards and accuracy in order fulfillment, inventory handling, and product preparation.

Other Requirements:

    • Physical Requirements:  

    Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs with a range from a floor level to above shoulder height. Position requires walking and standing on concrete floors for a period of up to two hours; pushing and pulling rolling carts or pallet jacks bearing loads of up to 500 pounds; and requires free range of motion including twisting, bending, stooping, and safely stepping up and down step-ladders.  

    • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.  
    • Must be able to work overtime, if needed.
