Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Driver / Route Delivery Driver & Bakery Production AssociateJob Description

We are seeking dependable, self-motivated individuals to join a growing bakery team as a Warehouse Driver / Route Delivery Driver and Bakery Production Associate. This role combines overnight route delivery in a company Sprinter van with hands-on packaging and production work in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment. You will work independently to manage assigned delivery routes while also supporting packaging, inventory organization, and general warehouse operations. The team is close-knit, with many long-tenured employees, and this position is ideal for someone who is reliable, customer-focused, and eager to build a long-term career.

Responsibilities
  • Report to the warehouse in Napa, CA at the scheduled start time for each shift.
  • Review daily work orders and delivery paperwork to understand route details and customer requirements.
  • Load bakery products into company Sprinter vans using prepared racks of baked goods, ensuring accuracy and care.
  • Complete assigned overnight delivery routes efficiently and safely while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Deliver bakery products to restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, and retail locations in areas such as Walnut Creek, St. Helena, Yountville, Sonoma, and other surrounding locations as assigned.
  • Perform deliveries to a variety of client locations, including hotel properties, grocery chains, and local market and restaurant destinations.
  • Obtain customer signatures when required and ensure all delivery documentation is completed accurately.
  • Perform blind deliveries where products are dropped off without direct customer interaction, following specific drop-off instructions.
  • Maintain excellent customer service and professionalism during all interactions with clients and site staff.
  • Package and prepare bakery products for distribution according to established standards and work orders.
  • Organize products based on delivery schedules and customer orders to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
  • Assist with inventory organization, including staging products and maintaining orderly storage areas.
  • Support general warehouse operations as needed, including loading, unloading, and moving product throughout the facility.
  • Handle general labor tasks related to production and packing, ensuring products meet quality and presentation standards.

Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, involving the use of company Sprinter vans for deliveries, racks of baked goods for loading, and standard warehouse equipment for staging and organizing inventory. The role requires regular lifting of up to 50 pounds, extended periods of standing, and active movement throughout the warehouse and during deliveries. Dress is practical and appropriate for warehouse and delivery work, suitable for overnight shifts and handling food products in a production setting. Upon successful completion of training and conversion to regular status, employees are assigned a permanent route and schedule, providing consistency and routine in daily work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
