Job description

Description:

Seeking a highly organized and proactive Warehouse Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of supply chain and warehouse operations, such as material handling, operating a forklift, shipping and receiving, and packing; and will thrive in a fast-paced, detail critical setting.


As a Warehouse Associate, you will be crossed trained in all areas of our Warehouse Team:

  • Ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within our warehouse and working in the manufacturing facility to supply internal and external customers.
  • Packing product to get ready for shipment.
  • Shipping and Receiving in products.

Responsibilities:

  • Using Kanban Pull System, help to monitor inventory levels and reorder points to ensure material availability and reduce excess stock.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits.
  • Uphold inventory control best practices such as FIFO, safety stock and location management.
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
  • Accurately pick and pack finished goods, spare parts, or kits for customer orders or internal transfers.
  • Prepare shipping labels, packing lists and required documentation (e.g., BOLs, customs forms).
  • Coordinate outbound shipments with freight carriers, couriers, and logistics partners.
  • Ensure packaging meets safety and quality standards for industrial or commercial delivery.
  • Receive and process incoming materials.
  • Operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse and to the manufacturing facility as needed.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
Requirements:

Education / Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED/HiSET required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, shipping and/or packing in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in ERP/MRP systems; IQMS is a plus.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word and Inventory tracking tools.
  • Familiar with shipping software and labeling systems (UPS, FedEx, etc...)
  • Ability to interpret bills of materials (BOMs), work orders and packing specifications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Standing or walking for extended periods of times in warehouse or manufacturing areas.
  • Occasional use of forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Problem-solving mindset with continuous improvement focus.

Work Environment

  • Manufacturing floor and warehouse environment.
  • Must be comfortable working around machinery, raw materials and production processes.
  • Occasional adjusted hours to get work accomplished may be necessary.

Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Some additional hours may be required at times based upon company need.
