Job description

Overlooked Materials is transforming recycling and circular product manufacturing here in the Chattanooga area. Come join our movement and be a part of change in Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia!

Highlights:

  • We were recently selected as the vendor to lead curbside glass recycling for a large City of Chattanooga pilot.
  • We are launching new of products made from the recycled products we collect.
  • We have expanded our capacity to serve the abrasives industry with high value blasting abrasives made from recycled glass.
  • We are expanding our recycling and processing capabilities to tackle polystyrene foam (e.g., 'Styrofoam(TM)').

To help us with these initiatives, we are looking for an Operator who can manage our blast media process and development. We are offering a temporary position with possibility to convert to a full-time position. We offer a flexible schedule! Required: Must be able to lift 50 lbs and have a valid Driver's License. Optional qualifications: Forklift and warehouse work experience.
