Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager/Shipping & Receiving Manager will oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management. This role demands strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and certified forklift operation experience.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Warehouse Management:

    • Supervise daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
    • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Shipping & Receiving:

    • Oversee the receiving of shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders.
    • Inspect shipments for damages and report discrepancies.
    • Prepare shipping documents and ensure timely shipment of orders.
  • Inventory Management:

    • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts.
    • Resolve inventory discrepancies and support inventory control measures.
  • Forklift Operation:

    • Safely operate a forklift to move and organize products within the warehouse.
