It’s common to juggle multiple tasks at once, such as loading and unloading shipments quickly while maintaining accuracy and safety standards. Teamwork is essential, as you’ll coordinate with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure the smooth flow of goods. With experience and proven reliability, there are often opportunities to advance to positions like lead dock worker, shift supervisor, or warehouse manager.
