Lead Dock Worker - Full-Time (Day Shift)
Cleveland, Ohio

Position Summary
The Lead Dock Worker is responsible for the daily operation of the dock area, ensuring donations are handled efficiently, safely, and accurately. This role plays a key part in supporting store operations and warehouse logistics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and support dock area operations
  • Ensure proper placement and categorization of donated goods in the warehouse
  • Fill donation orders for Goodwill retail stores
  • Load deliveries onto trucks at the loading dock
  • Operate tow motor safely and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Basic Requirements
  • Tow motor certification required
  • This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug and alcohol testing during employment
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including:
    • Frequent standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting
    • Bilateral reaching at all levels; handling, fingering, fine fingering, and simple grasping
    • Occasional sitting and kneeling
    • Frequent lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs.; occasional lifting/carrying 51-100 lbs.
    • Frequent pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. at varying distances
    • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Steel-toe footwear required
  • Background check required
