Job description

Who We Are:
The Equipment Lock Company is a family-owned business in Bedford, PA that has been in operation for over 20 years. We make anti-theft and safety devices for heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, sea containers and more. We're growing fast and are looking for an Assembler to help us continue to expand!
What Will You Be Doing?
  • Pick parts and components accurately from warehouse racking, using handheld scanners and ERP systems
  • Sort, stage, and consolidate customer and internal orders for shipment
  • Build and prepare kits for production, service, or customer orders
  • Use basic power tools and hand tools to assemble kit components, secure packaging, or prepare parts for shipment
  • Pack products securely to ensure safe transport and excellent customer presentation
  • Prepare labels, shipping paperwork, and complete shipment processing in internal system
  • Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and computers
  • Assist with inventory organization, stock replenishment, and cycle counting
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
  • Support other warehouse and operations needs as business demands change

What We're Looking For:
  • Previous warehouse, shipping, fulfillment, or material handling experience preferred
  • Experience with pick/pack/ship processes
  • Comfortable using computers, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to safely use basic power tools and hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Team-focused mindset with a willingness to jump in where needed
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical requirements:
  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking for extended periods, up to 8 hours/day (not including overtime)
  • Frequent bending, squatting, reaching, climbing, and lifting
  • Regular use of hands for grasping, kitting, and tool use
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to work safely in an active warehouse and manufacturing environment
