Job description

Warehouse & Inventory Associate

Two Sons Plumbing is seeking a dependable, highly organized Warehouse & Inventory Associate to support our warehouse, purchasing, and inventory operations. This position plays an important role in ensuring our field teams have the materials, tools, and supplies they need to serve our customers efficiently.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing hands-on warehouse responsibilities with inventory tracking, purchasing, and vendor coordination. This position will also provide basic administrative and coordination support to the Fleet Manager as needed.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m.
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 annually, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time, on-site

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, organize, and properly store incoming materials, tools, parts, and supplies

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and complete routine cycle counts

  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials to prevent shortages or unnecessary overstock

  • Purchase materials, tools, parts, and supplies based on operational needs

  • Prepare and stage materials for field technicians and upcoming jobs

  • Track purchase orders, deliveries, receipts, and related documentation

  • Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, product availability, orders, and delivery timelines

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse

  • Assist with basic fleet coordination, recordkeeping, and administrative tasks as needed

  • Work closely with field and operations teams to anticipate material and equipment needs

  • Perform other warehouse and operational duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • Two to five years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, purchasing, or a related role

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or inventory-management systems

  • Ability to work independently while supporting a fast-paced team environment

  • Ability to safely handle and move warehouse materials, tools, and supplies

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting plumbing, HVAC, construction, home services, or another field-service industry

  • Experience with purchasing, vendor coordination, and inventory-control processes

  • Familiarity with plumbing materials, fittings, tools, and equipment
