Warehouse Position

Growing logistics company currently seeking experienced, highly motivated individual to work in the warehouse in its new Buffalo facility.

Candidates should be self-starters, punctual, motivated/driven, attention to detail, and have the ability to work in a fast paced warehouse environment. This position requires standing for long periods of time. Positions may also require repetitive bending, reaching, heavy lifting, and pushing/pulling of pallets of stock with pallet jacks. Some overtime may be required.

  • Records and verifies shipment data for incoming or outgoing items.
  • Use of RF scanning systems.
  • Examines contents of incoming shipments for damage, shortages, or other discrepancies.
  • Operates equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies, to deliver or route materials to departments and reorganize storage.
  • Participates in routing, counting and inspecting items while loading and unloading trucks; delivers and returns items.
  • Utilizes computerized or automated systems to accomplish tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • No experience necessary.
