We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and hardworking Helper to join our Warehouse and Delivery team for the night shift! This role assists Drivers with packing, loading, deliveries, unloading, and event-related operations. Responsibilities

Event Packing & Preparation

  • Assist with packing and preparing event equipment, supplies, and materials in the warehouse to ensure readiness for scheduled deliveries.
  • Review event paperwork and packing lists to help ensure all required items are prepared and accounted for.
  • Identify and report missing items during pack-out by creating and communicating a “short list.”
  • Verify that deliveries are complete, organized, and aligned with event paperwork prior to departure.

Loading & Delivery Support

  • Assist Drivers with loading company straight box trucks, vans, and other vehicles.
  • Organize and safely secure equipment, supplies, food, and beverages for transport.
  • Support Drivers during deliveries and pickups to help ensure items are handled safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with navigating delivery locations, loading docks, and venue access as needed.
  • Maintain a professional and hospitality-focused demeanor when interacting with clients, guests, venue representatives, building staff, and team members.

Returns & Breakdown

  • Assist with unloading and breaking down returned items following events.
  • Separate equipment, perishable food, beverages, soiled materials, and other returned items for proper handling, cleaning, and storage.
  • Help ensure returned items are properly accounted for and routed to the appropriate warehouse or operational area.
  • Promptly report missing, damaged, or unaccounted-for items to the Supervisor or Manager.

Warehouse & Vehicle Organization

  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse areas, loading docks, and company vehicles.
  • Remove trash, dispose of empty boxes, and keep work areas free of hazards.
  • Assist with organizing equipment, supplies, and inventory to support efficient warehouse operations.
  • Follow proper lifting, loading, storage, and workplace safety procedures.

Team & Operational Support

  • Work collaboratively with Drivers, Supervisors, Warehouse team members, and Operations to support efficient workflow and successful event execution.
  • Follow written instructions, delivery paperwork, packing lists, and operational procedures accurately.
  • Demonstrate accountability, initiative, and consistent follow-through on assigned responsibilities.
  • Remain open to feedback and direction and apply it to improve performance and strengthen skills.
  • Follow all company and departmental policies, procedures, food-handling requirements, and safety standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on operational and event needs.

Qualifications

  • Previous warehouse, delivery, catering, event, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately follow written instructions, packing lists, and delivery paperwork.
  • Professional, courteous, and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients, guests, venue representatives, building staff, and Great Performances team members.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and event needs.
  • Familiarity with New York City roadways, neighborhoods, and delivery environments preferred.
  • Ability to safely lift and carry items weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Commitment to following company policies, procedures, and workplace safety standards.

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
