Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Helper
Company: ASW
Location: Somerset, NJ
Job Type: Full-Time

Pay:

  • $18/hour
  • Monthly performance evaluations with possible pay increases based on performance

Job Summary

ASW is seeking a dependable and hardworking Warehouse Helpers to support daily warehouse operations. This entry-level, Temp-to-Hire position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable with physical work and are looking to grow within a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and looking to start as soon as possible.


Work Schedule

  • Mon-Fri: 08:30 AM – 05:00 PM
  • Also includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Key Responsibilities

Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently

Load and unload stainless steel tubing and other materials as needed

Prepare materials for shipment and ensure proper handling

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Support general warehouse operations as required (cleaning, put-away, staging, etc.)

Qualifications

  • No prior experience required
  • Basic English language skills
  • Must be reliable and have basic ability to work with numbers
  • MUST have steel toe boots
  • Reliable transportation is required as the company is not located on a nearby bus route
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving materials for extended periods
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
