Driver/Warehouse Associate

Temperature Equipment Corporation/National Excelsior Company (TEC/NEC) is one of the largest HVAC distributors in the United States. With over 80 years of experience, our service and values has allowed us to satisfy the biggest HVAC needs.

Job description

Driver provides excellent customer service through the safe and efficient delivery of parts and product to our customers, driving a 26’ box truck doing local deliveries. When delivery needs are met, the driver will assist in various warehouse task as assigned to help support the warehouse team. The following details are not definitive and subject to change based on organizational needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Delivers HVAC parts and equipment to customers, vendors, and other locations as requested.
  • Loads and unloads product from truck using manual pallet jacks or hand trucks
  • Verify shipments for delivery and visually inspect product for damage.
  • Build relationships with customers to better fit their needs.
  • Operate company vehicles and warehouse equipment safely including 26’ foot box truck.
  • Jobsite’s deliveries are conducted in areas of construction in which depending on the weather, may be wet, muddy, snowy, etc.

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

  • Must possess or be willing to obtain a Chauffeur License prior to beginning the work assignment
  • Capable of safe driving for extended periods of time
  • Successfully works independently and meet timelines
  • Exceptional customer service with a team player mentality and organization skills
  • Able to lift 50 pounds for loading/unloading trucks and moving products
  • Ability to safely operate 26’ box trucks for company deliveries

Required Qualification

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous driving, delivery, or warehouse experience desired
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving history and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Schedule

Full Time Monday through Friday

Rotating Saturday

Shift based on business needs
