Job Title: Warehouse Associate/Back Up Delivery Driver
Supervisor: Operations Manager
Department: Warehouse
Revision Date: 07/16/2025
Overtime: Non-Exempt
Schedule/Shift: 7:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. M-F (hours vary)
Position Overview:
Warehouse Associate/ Back up driver is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions, including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
Duties amp; Responsibilities:
  • Understands the need for continued work-related education
  • Knows that work is subject to change; reacts positively and quickly to change
  • Places a higher priority on the organization’s goals than their own personal goals, and contributes to helping the team accomplish its goals
  • Demonstrates honesty and keeps commitments, while adhering to the team’s expectations and guidelines
  • Participates in meetings on time
  • Accepts responsibility for outcomes
  • Maintains a strong work pace; overcomes obstacles to achieve goals
  • Identifies safety issues and problems; reports or corrects unsafe working conditions and safety problems; checks equipment and work area regularly
  • The receiving department checks in the material promptly
  • The receiving department is to report any damaged material to the purchasing department
  • The receiving department is to help the order fillers if time allows
  • Order fillers will complete tasks with efficiency and accuracy
  • Order fillers will communicate any inventory issues with the warehouse manager
  • Order fillers and the Receiving department must have complete knowledge of the use of the P21 RF gun
  • Comfortable operating a WAV cart for picking and pulling parts at heights of up to 17 feet.
  • Willing to learn and be trained on operating a pipe cutting and threading machine.
  • All warehouse staff are to greet customers with a positive attitude within a few minutes of their entering the warehouse
  • All warehouse staff are required to help with the cleanliness of the bins, shelves, and warehouse floor
  • All warehouse staff are required to work with fellow employees as a team
  • Assist with any CDL Driver tasks as assigned
Required Skills amp; Abilities:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a minimum of 2 years holding and using a valid Driver's License
  • Willing to drive Commercial Size vehicles 26,000lbs or below,
  • Willing to deliver Pipe, Valves, Fittings to Customer Locations
  • Willing to learn and use Overhead Crane, Pipe Threading and Pipe Cutting Machines
  • Willing to learn and use Power Equipment, Forklift, WAV Cart, Scissor Lift, etc.
  • CDL For Hire license and current CDL Physical or Obtain this Endorsement with-in 30 days of Hire
  • Detail-oriented with extraordinary problem-solving skills
  • Experience with RF scanners (desired but not required)
  • Experience with Plumbing, PVF, and Industrial products (desired but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable
  • Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Education amp; Experience:

Physical Requirements:
