Job description

SUMMARY: 

The Warehouse Distribution Clerk is responsible for managing administrative and clerical tasks that support warehouse and production operations. This role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, processing shipping and receiving documentation, coordinating with production and logistics teams, and ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.  


Shift Time: 1-9:30pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Manages and assigns the pick orders for all shippable products.
  • Provides quality customer service including driver check in/departure, product release and document processing. 
  • Works cross functionally with logistics on shipping schedule. 
  • Enters purchase requisitions for supplies, as directed by the Warehouse Manager.
  • Receiving and confirming the daily logistics plan.
  • Other duties as assigned by management. 

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION: 

  • High school diploma or GED is required. 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a plant or distribution warehouse environment. 
  • Exhibits effective communication skills, essential for working with other teammates and with customers, bilingual a plus.
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT: 

  • Required to maneuver plant and warehouse workspaces which involve: 
  • Frequently standing, walking, sitting, talking, or hearing, work around loud machinery and moving parts 
  • Continually utilize hand and finger dexterity, continually exposed to extreme heat, extreme cold, wet and/or humid conditions (non-weather) 
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, exposed to outside weather conditions, and push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds safely
