Job description

Warehouse Admin


Position Summary: This position will be responsible for administration duties related to invoice processing, carrier bill of lading generation, stock receipt process, bin location changes, etc.


Essential Functions:

 Generate invoices for products shipped.

 Review Bill of Lading information to ensure accuracy. Experience with bills of lading, commercial invoicing, packing lists, and other documents required for each shipment.

 Determine method of shipment, shipping charges and schedule pick-ups with freight carriers per customer's specifications.

 Compares cost and transit times from different carriers & chooses the most affordable/reliable carrier. Consolidating freight.

 Provide our carriers with the necessary information and paperwork to pick up these orders.

 System knowledge with internal and external operating systems such as TMS, Supplier portals.

 Communicates with Sales regarding changes or delays in schedules.

 Communicate with freight carriers to track delivery and resolve issues.

 Proof all data and make any necessary corrections.

 Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required. Minimum Qualifications:

 2-year freight / logistic experience is necessary

 High School Diploma or equivalent required

 Proficient in Transportation Management Systems and LTL Shipments

 Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

 Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

 Intermediate to advanced computer skills and knowledge of the internet, email, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
