Warehouse Clothing Sorter (Part-Time, Weekends Only)

Location: Rescue Mission Warehouse, Liverpool
Schedule: Saturday amp; Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.30/hour

Since 1887, Rescue Mission has been putting love into action by providing food, shelter, clothing, and support to individuals and families in need. We are currently seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Clothing Sorter to help process donated clothing and household items that support our mission and retail operations.

Position Summary

The Warehouse Clothing Sorter is responsible for preparing donated merchandise for resale, recycling, salvage, or disposal. This role involves sorting, hanging, pricing, and organizing clothing and other donated items to ensure efficient processing and distribution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort donated clothing according to quality and resale standards
  • Hang, tag, and prepare merchandise for retail sale
  • Organize and process accessories and household items, including:
    • Ties
    • Scarves
    • Hats
    • Gloves
    • Linens
  • Assist with store delivery preparation and inventory organization
  • Support recycling, salvage, and waste management processes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform general warehouse cleaning and housekeeping duties
  • Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned
QualificationsPreferred Education amp; Experience
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, production, retail, or clothing-related environment preferred
