About the Role
DCS is continuing to grow, and we are expanding our Project Management leadership team across both our Parcel and Distribution & Fulfillment (D&F) business segments. As a Sr. Manager role, you will lead and develop a team of Project Managers supporting complex material handling and automation projects for some of the world's most recognized brands.
This role is ideal for a collaborative leader who enjoys mentoring teams, driving operational excellence, and helping bring large-scale customer visions to life. As DCS continues to grow, we are hiring across both Parcel and Distribution & Fulfillment teams. Throughout the interview process, we take the time to understand each candidate's technical background, leadership experience, project interests, and long-term career goals so we can thoughtfully align talent to the right team and business needs.
You will play a key role in supporting Project Managers through project execution, resource planning, financial reviews, process improvement, and overall team development. Most importantly, you will help foster strong customer relationships while ensuring successful project outcomes from kickoff through completion.

In this role, you will...
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of Project Managers in their day-to-day operations.
  • Provide coaching and guidance as teams prepare for monthly financial and project reviews.
  • Strategically allocate project resources based on business needs, project complexity, and individual strengths.
  • Partner with leadership and recruiting teams to support hiring efforts and organizational growth.
  • Develop, document, and improve processes to drive consistency and operational excellence across the PM organization.
  • Analyze project feedback and performance metrics to help shape department strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support the successful execution of complex automation and material handling projects across Parcel and/or Distribution & Fulfillment environments.
  • Help build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring teams deliver on commitments.

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
  • You have experience managing projects within material handling, automation, Parcel or Distribution & Fulfillment, warehouse operations, or related industries.
  • You bring 4 to 7+ years of Project Management experience, including experience leading or mentoring teams.
  • You are a strong communicator who can effectively provide direction, feedback, and support to both internal teams and external customers.
  • You are highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are comfortable navigating Project Management software and financial reporting tools.
  • You have experience managing project budgets, schedules, risks, and customer expectations.
  • You are solutions oriented and thrive in environments that require strategic thinking and adaptability.
