A leading electronics testing company is seeking a
Logistics Associate 2to support warehouse operations by managing receiving, inventory, shipping, and material movement activities, ensuring accurate inventory control, maintaining efficient material flow, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet operational goals while following quality and safety standards.
Logistics Associate Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, verify, unload, load, pick, pack, ship, and move materials while maintaining accurate inventory records, completing data entry, updating reports, and supporting warehouse documentation.
- Transport materials efficiently throughout warehouse and production areas while balancing immediate operational needs with long-term inventory and workflow objectives.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve production or material flow issues, communicate effectively with internal teams and customers, and prioritize requests based on business needs.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, electric pallet jacks, order pickers, shrink-wrap machines, walkie stackers, and related equipment as needed, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Support cross-functional warehouse operations, participate in LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives, assist with training and mentoring team members, attend team meetings, and comply with company, quality, import/export, and safety requirements.
Logistics Associate Qualifications:
- Material handling, warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, or inventory control experience is preferred.
- Ability to type 35+ words per minute.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint.
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance.
- Flexibility to perform various warehouse functions, travel to other sites as needed, and participate in onsite and virtual training.
- Familiarity with warehouse best practices, material handling equipment, ERP or logistics systems, and LEAN methodologies is preferred.
