Responsibilities:

Delivery Associates are the face of Blue Ridge NC Logistics and Amazon. You will:

  • Safely operate a delivery van (Extended Cargo Van or Step Van) to deliver Amazon packages to customers
  • Always conduct yourself in a highly ethical and professional manner
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and paperwork
  • Load vans and deliver packages by driving, climbing in/out of the vehicle, and walking upstairs and through driveways in all weather conditions (we deliver year-round!)
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent Amazon with professionalism
  • Solving problems independently using critical thinking skills
  • Show excellent attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
  • Work effectively with a team in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
  • Operate a smartphone for GPS navigation and daily logs
Qualifications

Requirements:

We provide thorough on-the-job training, so all teammates feel confident on the road and on the doorsteps of Amazon customers. Our main priority is safety and reliability.

You must:

  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Hold a valid NC driver's license (no CDL required)
  • Have a clean driving record.
  • Be available to work weekends and holidays
  • Be fluent in English (bilingual a plus)
  • Have a proven track record of reliability
  • Be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks such as climbing stairs, squatting, and bending during an 8-10 hour shift
  • Preferred Qualifications (not required but highly valued):

  • Previous delivery experience
  • Experience driving large vehicles
  • Military, EMS, Fire Department, or Law Enforcement background
