Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Senior Warehouse Associate, you will serve as a key leader within the warehouse operation, responsible for overseeing aspects of inventory management, order fulfillment, and team performance. Your role will involve process optimization, and mentorship of junior associates to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to drive engagement and accountability of junior associates.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize inventory accuracy, reduce stock outs, and minimize unnecessary overhead and waste.
  • Analyze data on warehouse productivity, order accuracy, and inter-departmental satisfaction to identify trends and opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including procurement, logistics, business units and back shops, to ensure alignment of warehouse activities with overall business objectives.
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts, leveraging lean principles and technology solutions to streamline workflows and eliminate waste.
  • Conduct audits of records, storage facilities, and operational procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on warehouse operations, providing support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between warehouse staff and management, facilitating communication and resolution of issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the onboarding, and training of new warehouse personnel, ensuring alignment with organizational culture and values.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in warehousing and logistics, and proactively share insights with the team.

NON-PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
  • Perform other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma; bachelor's degree in supply chain management or related field preferred or 5 years of experience in supply chain or warehouse operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution abilities.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Certification in lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with WMS (Warehouse Management System) implementation and optimization.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices for warehousing and logistics.
  • Ability to administer or participate in training programs for warehouse staff.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Forklift certification.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Fast-paced environment with high volume and tight deadlines.
  • Potential exposure to hazardous materials and equipment; adherence to safety protocols is paramount.
  • Requires physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and operate material handling equipment.

This position is designated as a safety-sensitive position because it includes as part of the essential job duties operating equipment and tools on a routine basis. Additionally, the duties of this position concern the service and completion of aircraft, and overall airworthiness of the aircraft. This position is one in which a lapse of attention could result in injury, illness, or death. For the safety of this employee and others, the employee must be able to work in a constant state of alertness and concentrate for long periods of time while performing safety activities.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The compensation for this position typically falls between $25.00 and $29.00 per hour. This position is eligible for overtime. This position may be eligible for shift differential. Note, the final compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of relevant experience, Falcon-specific experience, relevant education/certifications, geographic location, and shift.
