Summary

Van Maanen Electric is looking for a Warehouse Associate to support our company's warehouse operations. Our Warehouse Associates perform duties in connection with receiving, inspecting, recording, and storing, materials and equipment. Warehouse Associates load, unload, and handle materials and supplies to be used for construction projects. In addition, they work closely with the warehouse supervisor to streamline processes and assure the quality of goods.

Job Description

  • Pack and prepare items to be stocked on shelves in the warehouse, tool room, and yard
  • Seal, label, and prepare materials for shipping, using hand or power tools
  • Scan materials in and out of the inventory system
  • Perform physical activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and stooping
  • Organize the warehouse and yard to create a clean and efficient work area
  • Load and unload trucks by hand, pallet jacks and/or forklifts
