Job description

Olsten is looking to hire motivated Warehouse Receiving Associates for our client located in Loris, SC. Must be physically capable of performing a variety of Warehouse Duties. This is for a long-term temporary to hire opportunity. If you meet the qualifications listed below, please Apply Now!
Position Overview:
The Warehouse Receivers will be responsible for the efficient unloading of shipping containers, accurate receipts of goods, and maintaining a streamlined workflow in the warehouse. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Unloading Containers: Safely and efficiently unload goods from shipping containers using manual and mechanical methods.
  • Inspection & Verification: Inspect and verify received goods against shipping documents to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies to damages.
  • Sorting & Organization: Sort and organize items based on type, size, and destination within the warehouse.
  • Documentation: Accurately record all received items, including quantities, descriptions, and conditions, using warehouse management systems.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in updating inventory records and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure efficient operations and timely processing of shipments.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in container unloading, warehousing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
