Job description

Reports to: Warehouse Manager

Summary/Objective

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations including order fulfillment, inventory control, material handling, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining accuracy and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate warehouse equipment, including standard sit-down forklifts, in a safe and efficient manner
  • Pull, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Load and unload trucks and containers while ensuring product integrity
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and documentation
  • Maintain accurate inventory through proper handling, counting, and reporting discrepancies
  • Assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory reconciliation as needed
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of materials within the warehouse
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, including aisles, workstations, and storage areas
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies to ensure a safe work environment
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Take initiative to complete tasks and support team members as needed
  • Perform general warehouse duties as assigned to support operations

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience operating a sit-down forklift required
