Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator - 1st Shift)

We're looking for a Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator - 1st Shift) to join our team and play a critical role in our daily operations. This dynamic role requires you to safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, perform quality inspections of the prior day's foam production, and move product throughout the facility in accordance with Work Instructions and Procedures.

What You'll Do:

  • Safely operate a forklift in line with company training and safety protocols
  • Load and unload product on and from trucks as defined by Pomp's work instructions
  • Deliver and remove materials to and from the production line as required
  • Properly label and place material within the warehouse per work instructions
  • Gather, organize, and place finished assemblies or product in the proper staging area(s)
  • Sort and place racks/skids into the appropriate holding area(s)
  • Perform quality inspection/check of prior day's foam production
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Adhere to all applicable OSHA, Pomp's, and facility standards/rules/regulations
  • Additional tasks as assigned by manager

What You Need:

  • Previous indoor warehouse and/or shipping operations experience desired
  • Safe, efficient forklift operation after successful completion of Pomp's Forklift Training
  • Proven ability to readily recognize detailed accuracy of parts, components, or assemblies
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift, push, carry, and/or move a maximum of 100 pounds
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
  • Ability to read and verify work order information
