Job description

The Picker Packer Associate is an important team member at CDMA! You will contribute to our mission to distribute the best high-quality health, beauty, and wellness products and provide exceptional customer support.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Communicate with Warehouse Manager regarding daily orders and other tasks
  • Pick and stack orders efficiently and accurately
  • Handle inventory in an appropriate and efficient manner
  • Make sure all damaged and short-dated merchandise is reported in a proper time period
  • Assist with physical inventory (approximately twice a year)
  • Make sure all cases shipped out to Members are clean (i.e., dust off top of boxes)
  • Operate all CDMA warehouse equipment in a safe and appropriate manner
  • Work with other CDMA team members in a respectful manner
  • Assist in promoting strong teamwork with other warehouse employees
  • Keep a designated area of the warehouse clean on a daily basis

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform physical demands of job
  • Ability to operate a pallet stacker (stock picker), forklift, pallet jack, hand truck and other equipment utilized in the warehouse
  • Understand and follow oral and written instructions

Working conditions

  • This job requires working in a warehouse setting.

Physical requirements

  • Stand, walk, bend, push, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, reach, and crawl
  • Withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, and hand truck
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Hear clearly and verbalize articulately
