Warehouse Position

Berendsen Fluid Power is a large North American hydraulic distributor. We have an immediate need in our Scarborough location for a warehouse worker.

Berendsen is a company full of tenured employees with decades of service. We believe there is no resource more valuable than our people. It is the talent, collective knowledge, training and experience of our employees that will enable us to move ahead.  We are transitioning to a new facility in Oakville so looking for someone to start with us at our current Scarborough facility and begin training.  We expect to move our inventory and operations at the end of 2026 - early 2027, and then the job, and all operations will be in Oakville. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM

Duties Include but not limited to:

  • Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in product
  • Unpacking products as they arrive
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins
  • May assist in counting of physical inventory
  • Prepare products for shipping
  • Maintains safe and clean work area by keeping shelves and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop.

Necessary:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
  • Dependable and Reliable

Physical Requirement

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
