Grocery Warehouse Associate / Unloader

Department: Freight Handler

Location: Baytown, TX

Job Summary:

We are seeking Local Hire Grocery Freezer Unloaders/loaders to join our team in Baytown, TX. The primary responsibility of this role is to safely and efficiently unload/load frozen meat from the freezer section of the grocery warehouse onto pallets. This is not a travel team opportunity, so applicants must live locally. ** We offer daily pay which allows you to draw money daily from your paycheck**

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work in a freezer environment with temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit (Freezer gear provided)

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 65 pounds

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment

  • Grocery experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Load/Unload Frozen meat onto pallets

  • Ensure accurate and complete orders are selected for delivery

  • May need to operate warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks, to move products

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Pay and Shift Details:

-Shift: Wednesday through Saturday 4:00am-2:30pm ( 4 - 10 hour shifts)

-Pay: Performance-based pay, with the average associate earning $22/hour, but never less than $18/hour. Daily texts from Humano provide earnings tracking for transparency.
