What you'll be working on:

Summary:

The Warehouse Associate supports the Savers vision by safely handling, separating, sorting and organizing material and goods delivered to the Processing Warehouse from our stores and community partners. We are hiring for multiple positions which may include:

  • Merchandise Sorters, Graders and Pricers
  • Inventory Receivers, Processors and Stockers      
  • Material Handlers and Recyclers

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for separating, sorting, and processing specific merchandise
  • Responsible for supplying merchandise to various departments through the day, keeping production flowing.
  • Empties recycle and trash bins as required. Moves backstock boxes, bins and barrels as needed. May be required to operate a Baler, an Electric Pallet Jack, Forklift or other equipment to assist with the movement of merchandise.
  • Ability to determine what is saleable, what is recyclable and what needs to be thrown away.
  • Stacks boxes of merchandise and/or recyclables on pallets for weight verification
  • Responsible for ensuring aisles and walk ways are clean and free from debris.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of the workstation for safety and efficient production.
  • Ability to follow and work within all company safety guidelines.
  • Moves and transfers merchandise from trucks and trailers to outbound containers or receiving areas as necessary. Keeps an accurate count of all merchandise that has been transferred.
  • Team Members may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by their department lead, supervisor or manager.

      Resumen: 

      El Asociado de almacen apoya la vision de Savers manipulando, separando, clasificando y organizando de forma segura el material y los bienes entregados al Almacen de Procesamiento por nuestras tiendas y socios de la comunidad. Estamos contratando para multiples puestos, entre ellos: 

      • Separadores, clasificadores y tasadores de mercancias 
      • Receptores, procesadores y organizadores/reponedores de inventario 
      • Manipuladores y recicladores de materiales 

      Funciones esenciales del puesto: 

      • Responsable de separar, clasificar y procesar mercancia especifica. 
      • Responsable de suministrar mercancia a varios departamentos a lo largo del dia, manteniendo el flujo de produccion. 
      • Vaciar los contenedores de basura y reciclaje cuando sea necesario. Mover las cajas, contenedores y barriles de productos almacenados segun sea necesario. Puede ser necesario manejar una empacadora, una transpaleta electrica, una carretilla elevadora u otros equipos para ayudar a mover la mercancia. 
      • Capacidad para determinar lo que se puede vender, lo que se puede reciclar y lo que hay que tirar.
      • Apilar cajas de mercancia o reciclables en plataformas de carga para verificar su peso. 
      • Responsable de garantizar que los pasillos y las zonas de paso esten limpios y libres de residuos. 
      • Mantener la limpieza y la organizacion de la estacion de trabajo para la seguridad y la produccion eficiente. 
      • Capacidad para seguir y trabajar conforme a todas las directrices de seguridad de la empresa.
