Job description

Warehouse Associate – Shipping & Receiving / Forklift & Crane

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate / Shipping & Receiving professional to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for shipping and receiving, material handling, loading and unloading, inventory movement, and operating material-handling equipment, including forklifts and overhead/bridge cranes.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming materials, parts, and shipments
  • Verify quantities and inspect materials for damage
  • Prepare and stage outgoing shipments
  • Load and unload trucks safely
  • Move and organize materials throughout the warehouse
  • Operate forklifts, lift trucks, and other powered industrial equipment
  • Operate overhead/bridge cranes to move heavier materials
  • Properly secure and handle materials
  • Assist with inventory organization and warehouse housekeeping
  • Complete shipping/receiving paperwork and documentation
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Assist the warehouse team with other duties as needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience required
  • Forklift experience required
  • Overhead crane / bridge crane experience required
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, fabrication, steel, lumber, or similar environment is a plus
  • Ability to safely move heavy materials
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Important: This is not a general warehouse position. Candidates should have hands-on experience with both forklifts and overhead/bridge cranes.
