Job summary

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving materials, unloading trucks, shipping out LTL orders, preparing orders for delivery, and supporting other business functions as needed. This role requires multitasking in a busy environment and occasional customer service at the counter.

Responsibilities

• Pull and prepare orders for shipment.
• Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming material.
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, secure, and safe at all times.
• Support other warehouse functions including working at the counter when needed.
• Perform cycle counting.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of recent and consistent warehouse or sit-down forklift experience.
• Experience working at heights up to 15 feet.
• No more than 3 month gaps in work history without explanation on the resume.
• Forklift operator experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, pull, and stand for a full shift.
• Background in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory preferred.
• Product knowledge or ability to quickly learn product information.
• Order picker experience is a plus; training is available.

Additional Details

• The work environment is not climate controlled and can become very warm.
• Job duties may align with roles such as Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate.
