Summit Staffing is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Distribution Associates to support warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and processing orders while maintaining quality standards and meeting productivity goals. The ideal candidate is motivated, safety-focused, and thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment.

    • 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders while maintaining product integrity
  • Meet established productivity and quality standards
  • Assist in cross-functional warehouse functions to support operational goals
  • Follow required procedures and complete documentation accurately
  • Maintain organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping of assigned work areas
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Accurately record time worked in accordance with company policies
  • Support additional warehouse duties as assigned by supervisors
Skills & Experience
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred but not required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for counting, verifying, and processing orders
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience using RF scanners, pallet jacks, or warehouse management systems is a plus
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
  • Experience using handheld scanners
  • Prior order picking, packing, shipping, or receiving experience
Work Environment
  • Warehouse environment that is not climate controlled
  • Standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Frequent lifting of up to 35 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Repetitive bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and twisting
  • Exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs
