Job description

Driver / Warehouse Associate

The Driver / Warehouse Associate at Kratos Industries is responsible for safely delivering finished products to customers, undamaged and retrieving materials from suppliers as needed. Reporting directly to the SCL Manager, this role supports our objective to be the go-to shop for high-volume, repeatable OEM-style control panel design and fabrication by ensuring accurate, timely, and organized handling of inventory and shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely transport finished products to customer sites, ensuring items arrive undamaged
  • Locate, package, load, and secure products for transport
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation to maintain accurate transaction records
  • Pick up materials or supplies from vendor locations as needed
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, orderly production floor and storage areas
  • Perform pre-use inspections and routine maintenance on handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
  • Report on any equipment issues or safety concerns to the Shipping & Receiving Manager

Qualifications:

Age & Language

  • At least 21 years old, with the ability to speak, read, and write English well enough to converse with the public, understand highway traffic signals, respond to official questions, and complete legible reports and records.

License & Driving Record:

  • Possess a valid driver's license with the proper class and endorsements (unexpired).
  • Clean driving record; must provide a list of any motor-vehicle violations from the past 36 months.
  • Upon hire a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be pulled.

Medical & Physical:

  • Hold a current DOT Medical Certificate.
  • In good health and physically able to perform all duties of the role.

Background & Screening:

Upon hire a 10-year background and MVR will be run prior to starting.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • 1–5+ years of professional delivery or material-handling experience
  • Forklift and lift-gate operation experience
  • Background in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
  • Excellent communication skills and a teamwork mindset
  • Dependable, proactive, and safety-conscious
