Staff Management | SMX is hiring Warehouse Material Handlers for our premier client, Callaway Golf, a global leader in sporting goods. This role is temp-to-hire and a great opportunity for long-term employment. Associates may support a variety of warehouse operations, including picking, packing, assembly, shipping, receiving, unloading, inventory movement, and other general labor duties as assigned. Shift Information:
  • 1st shift: Monday - Friday (Saturdays & Sundays required if scheduled during peak season), 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Hours are subject to change due to mandatory overtime and range between 8-12 hours (10-12 hours during peak)

Job Responsibilities
  • Previous experience in a warehouse/distribution environment is desired but not required.
  • Training is provided to all new associates.
  • Perform a variety of warehouse duties, which may include order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, labeling, sorting, unloading, and inventory handling.
  • Support multiple warehouse departments as needed.
  • Required to lift up to 60 lbs. repetitively, sort and stack boxes, and perform general warehouse duties to receive, process, store, or ship products.
  • Able to read, count accurately, and follow verbal and written directions in English for safety and training purposes.
  • Must be able to work as part of a team to achieve Distribution Center goals.
  • Able to stand and/or walk for the duration of a 12-hour shift.
  • The warehouse is not a climate-controlled facility.
  • Will be expected to cross-train and work in various departments within the warehouse
