Dixie Plywood & Lumber Co. of Atlanta - Duluth, GA 30096

Overview

Position Type Full Time Category Warehouse

Description

Receive, store, load and move building materials in the warehouse and in the loading of trucks. Workweek is Monday through Friday and may require some overtime work.

Qualifications
  • Must have ability to effectively and safely handle a forklift
  • Must be able to read the customer order, shipping order, purchase order, and/or bill of lading to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
  • Must be able to count and perform simple arithmetic
  • Must be able to physically move material either by forklift or by hand to unload incoming materials from railcars, trucks; and, to load outgoing deliveries
  • Must be able to identify products and accurately handle items specified on written company documents
  • Must be able to keep warehouse clean and orderly
  • Need to maintain good business relations with customers who come to the warehouse to pick up material
