About Journey Warehousing amp; Logistics
Journey Warehousing amp; Logistics is a growing third-party logistics (3PL) company that helps businesses keep their supply chains moving. Every day, freight arrives, inventory moves, trucks come and go, and customers rely on us to deliver exceptional service.
We're looking for an experienced Office Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the center of the action. If you're highly organized, love keeping things running smoothly, and take pride in delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to meet you.
Position Summary
As the Office Administrator, you'll serve as the hub of our warehouse operation. You'll be the first person customers, drivers, vendors, and visitors interact with while ensuring office operations, shipping documentation, and warehouse administration run efficiently behind the scenes.
This is a highly visible role that requires excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy logistics environment.
What You'll Do
  • Serve as the first point of contact for drivers, customers, vendors, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service in person, by phone, and by email
  • Manage driver check-in/check-out, prepare shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, delivery receipts), and coordinate inbound and outbound appointments
  • Accurately enter orders, receipts, shipments, and inventory information into the Warehouse Management System (Fishbowl)
  • Partner with warehouse staff, customers, and carriers to communicate shipment updates, resolve issues, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Maintain an organized office by managing reports, supplies, filing, mail, and general administrative functions
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of office administration or administrative support experience; logistics, transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office; experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS), Transportation Management System (TMS), or ERP system is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills with a professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Fishbowl or another Warehouse Management System
  • Familiarity with logistics terminology such as BOLs, PODs, LTL, FTL, cross-docking, and cycle counts
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Benefits
We offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Health insurance options (traditional and HSA plans)
  • Dental and vision insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Paid holidays
Why Join Journey Warehousing amp; Logistics?
  • Stable, growing company with opportunity for long-term career growth
  • Fast-paced environment where every day is different
  • Collaborative team that values communication, accountability, and customer service
  • Opportunity to make an immediate impact on daily operations
  • Supportive leadership and a team-oriented culture
