Position Summary...What you'll do...Role summary:
As an SDET you will design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions to ensure the quality of software products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product engineering, and UX, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features. In this role, you will troubleshoot complex system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to improve Quality. You will own test strategy, automation frameworks, and quality processes across projects. Responsibilities include developing and executing automated and manual tests, managing project deliverables, and ensuring timely releases. Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging modern tools, coding standards, and DevOps practices.

The Vision team supports the technology needs of Walmart’s Vision center, managing both in-store and online solutions across the Vision space. This team focuses on delivering seamless customer experiences, particularly through the native iOS app for online journeys. Members collaborate closely with product, project, and user experience teams to design, develop, and test innovative features. The team emphasizes technical excellence, continuous development, and effective troubleshooting to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions that meet business goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
What you'll do:
Collaborate with product, business, and UX teams to define test strategies and quality-focused technical solutions. Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts aligned with scalability, security, and reliability standards. Troubleshoot defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive resolution of production issues. Lead and mentor small teams on testing best practices, documentation, and timelines. Create and execute test cases, conduct regression testing, and ensure comprehensive coverage. Support CI/CD pipelines with automation and telemetry. Monitor application performance, evaluate changes, and ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies.
What you'll bring:
Proven experience in iOS test automation using Swift or Objective-C, with strong hands-on expertise in Appium (required) and XCUITest or similar frameworks. Solid understanding of iOS architecture, APIs, and mobile testing strategies. Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks integrated with CI/CD pipelines. Skilled in functional, regression, and integration testing for mobile apps. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement reliable solutions. Experience mentoring engineers and promoting quality best practices, with strong collaboration, documentation, and requirement analysis skills.
