This position provides essential customer service to suppliers, buyers, and associates by assisting with deliveries, locating merchandise, and maintaining fixtures. The Clerk collaborates with team members to ensure efficient processes, compliance with company policies, and contributes to a productive and organized facility.

The team is essential in managing merchandise flow within the Walmart Layout Center, handling tasks from receiving and delivering products to building and relocating fixtures and pricing items. Members maintain a safe, organized environment while operating equipment such as forklifts and supporting shipping and receiving processes. Collaboration ensures accuracy and efficiency, with a strong focus on ethical standards and company policies. What you'll do:
  • Assist in removing released merchandise by pulling and staging pallets for associate stores, ensuring accurate shipment and disposal of damaged items.
  • Provide customer service by supporting suppliers, buyers, and associates with deliveries, locating lost merchandise, and addressing shipping inquiries.
  • Build and dismantle fixtures, prepare for line reviews, and maintain proper signage on steel.
  • Operate forklifts and power equipment while maintaining safety and security throughout the Layout Center.
  • Maintain cleanliness by organizing work areas, managing recycling, and performing general housekeeping duties.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 - $28.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
