Position Summary...Role summary:
As an Associate Merchant, you will support category management by facilitating supplier negotiations, managing purchase orders, and resolving supplier-related issues to ensure accurate product setup across channels. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer experience through effective communication and merchandising strategies. Utilizing data analysis and financial insights, you will contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and promotional planning. This role requires strong vendor relationship management and a focus on operational excellence to drive category performance while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and standards.
About the team:
The team focuses on managing hardware categories including dehumidifiers, humidifiers, and ventilation products. It supports supplier relationships, negotiates agreements, and ensures accurate product setup across channels. Collaborating closely with merchants and vendors, the team drives category strategy, data analysis, and promotional activities to enhance customer experience. It also oversees budgeting, forecasting, and inventory planning to meet business goals. Members leverage technology and data insights to optimize processes and product offerings. The team values integrity, effective communication, and continuous improvement to deliver quality results aligned with company standards and customer needs.What you'll do...
  • Support merchants in supplier negotiations and manage purchase orders for assigned categories.
  • Assist in resolving supplier issues and facilitate the setup of new suppliers for stores and online channels.
  • Execute customer communication and education programs to enhance shopper experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate product content and optimize search results.
  • Track category financial performance, support forecasting, and contribute to budgeting processes.
  • Develop and implement feature proposals and modular assortment strategies across channels.
  • Leverage data analysis tools to generate insights and support decision-making.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to align with business objectives.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
