Job description

ONANCOCK AREA - ARMED Security Officers in HEALTH CARE setting $22.50

ARMED Security officers needed in a HEALTH CARE setting. Pay $22.50

Current openings in Onancock on the Eastern Shore

Interviews will be held in our Norfolk, VA office.

To qualify you must meet the following:

Have at least 3 years armed security experience or 3 years armed work through military, law enforcement, corrections, or any support role in a combat zone. Bring in your current DCJS card and training completion forms to interview.

Have a high school diploma or equivalent. You will need to bring it to your interview

2 references you will bring to the interview, name, phone number and how you know them.

Be able to pass a background investigation.

Be able to pass a drug screening.

Pass medical exam to include immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Covid-19, T-Dap, Hep-B, Flu vaccine). Will provide these at the medical exam if needed. If you have a vaccination record, bring it to your interview.

Duties will include:

Provide customer service throughout the health care facility.

Conduct screening for entry into the facility.

Monitor sensitive areas for entry, exits and support medical staff when needed.

Patrol the facility being a visible security presence to deter disruptions.

Be able to clearly write reports for incidents and observations while on duty.

Be able to clearly communicate with staff and visitors to the facility.

Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk the facility up to an 8-hour shift.
