To succeed in a walk-in interview, candidates should possess relevant educational qualifications, a well-prepared resume, and a clear understanding of the job requirements. Familiarity with standard application processes, basic computer skills, and sometimes knowledge of specific industry tools can be beneficial. Confidence, strong communication, and the ability to think quickly under pressure are vital soft skills that help candidates make a positive impression. During a walk-in interview, it's important to arrive early, dress professionally, and bring multiple copies of your resume. Be prepared to briefly introduce yourself and highlight your most relevant skills and experience, as interviews are often short and to the point. Additionally, being ready to answer common interview questions and inquire about the role demonstrates your preparedness and enthusiasm.

What is a walk-in interview?

A walk-in interview is a type of job interview where candidates can appear at a specified location and time without a prior appointment. Job description

Pinkbox Doughnuts is Rolling into Sandy this Summer! We are looking for high-energy, people-loving team members that want to build something sweet together.

Apply now and you will be invited to Self Schedule your VIRTUAL INTERVIEW with a Pinkbox Leader!

About the Role

As a Doughnut Dealer at Pinkbox, you’re the friendly face of the shop — greeting guests, helping them pick the perfect doughnut lineup, ringing them up, and keeping the shop looking fresh and fabulous. You’ll also jump in where needed (because teamwork makes the doughnuts work).

About Us

Pinkbox Doughnuts isn’t your old-school bakery — we’re the bold, colorful, made-from-scratch doughnut headquarters serving up 70+ Insta-worthy flavors daily, including icons like Pinky & Pooh. Our signature coffee menu is always rotating too, because we like to keep things fresh, fun, and never boring.

With 14 locations in Southern Nevada and Utah, it’s no surprise that we have been voted “Best Doughnuts in Vegas” year after year. Tourists flock, locals stay loyal, and our doughnuts keep going viral.

If you’re high-energy, love people, and can handle a little sugar-fueled chaos — we want you on the team.

What You’ll Do

  • Greet every guest with good vibes + big energy as soon as they walk in
  • Help guests choose flavors and recommend combos (aka suggestive selling)
  • Know our doughnuts inside and out — flavors, ingredients, and what’s hot today
  • Handle cash + card transactions accurately and confidently
  • Maintain a balanced drawer and follow all cash-handling procedures
  • Keep your work area clean, sanitized, and ready for action
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining room, restrooms, and guest areas during your shift
  • Support daily operations with any additional tasks assigned by management
  • Assist with doughnut decorating when the front is slow

What You Bring

  • 1+ year of customer service or food service experience preferred
  • A positive attitude and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and help with doughnut decorating
  • Must have a Food Handler’s Card
  • Must be legally authorized to work per State and Federal guidelines

Physical Requirements / Working Conditions

  • Standing and walking for the duration of each shift
  • Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 25 lbs.
  • Constant face-to-face guest interaction (you’re the star)
  • Ability to multitask, stay upbeat, and work efficiently during rushes
  • Shifts are typically 6–8 hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Must comply with uniform and hygiene standards
  • Expect a fun, upbeat, high-volume environment with lots of energy

We participate in E-Verify to confirm authorization to work in the United States.
