 SUMMARY

 Participate in our warehouse operations and activities. Responsible for storing materials, picking, packing, and tracking inventory. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

 JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
  • Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
  • Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
  • Complete diary logs into inventory
  • Report any discrepancies
  • Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
  • Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects
COMPETENCIES

Fundamental understanding of inventory control and materials handling.  Prior forklift experience or the ability to become certified. Skilled in reading comprehension, writing, and basic math knowledge.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
