Job description

Cleaner / Warehouse Associate (1st Shift)

Pay: $17.50/hr

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Position Summary

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Cleaner / Warehouse Associate to join our produce distribution team. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our refrigerated warehouse while also supporting warehouse operations as needed.

Approximately 80% of your day will be dedicated to cleaning and organizing, with the remaining 20% assisting the warehouse team with order fulfillment and shipping activities.

ResponsibilitiesCleaning amp; Facility Maintenance

  • Clean and maintain refrigerated coolers and warehouse areas.

  • Sweep floors and remove spilled produce to maintain a safe work environment.

  • Organize produce coolers to ensure products are stored properly.

  • Identify and remove expired or damaged produce.

  • Break down cardboard boxes for recycling.

  • Empty trash and recycling throughout the warehouse.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.

Warehouse Support (Approximately 20%)

  • Assist with pulling customer orders.

  • Double-check completed order checklists for accuracy.

  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks (preferred).

  • Help with general warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Reliable with excellent attendance.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Comfortable working in a refrigerated warehouse environment.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.

  • Ability to stand, bend, walk, and perform physical work for extended periods.

  • Previous warehouse or janitorial experience is a plus but not required.

  • Experience operating manual or electric pallet jacks is preferred.
