Job Title

Serves patients administering vaccines on behalf of Synchrony Pharmacy at Clinics.

Hours: 1st shift - PRN - TRAVEL SEASONAL ROLE

Hiring for upcoming flu season

Duties
  • Prepares and assists in the administration of vaccines.
  • Administering vaccines on behalf of Synchrony Pharmacy.
  • Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals; counseling patients on drug therapies.
  • Complies with state and federal drug laws as regulated by the State Board of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.
  • Protects patients and employees by adhering to infection-control protocols.
  • Travel including overnight stay as necessary.
  • Meets expectations of excellence for position.
  • Supports campuses, departmental goals and the overall objectives of the company.
  • Complies with all laws, regulations and standards of ethical conduct.
  • Performs all job duties with a friendly positive and team-oriented approach.
  • Maintains required licenses or certifications in good standing with the state.
  • Complies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Nursing, ADN, Diploma, B.S. or M.S.N. degree from an NLN accredited college or university.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Current unencumbered registered nursing license in the state of practice.
  • Valid CPR certification.

Experience

  • Five (5) years' experience in a pharmacy environment preferred. Healthcare, senior living industry or long-term care environment preferred.
  • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
