WANT TO WORK WITH A TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS AT A NEW RESTAURANT IN THE 30A AREA?  WE ARE LOCATED IN INLET BEACH AT THE INTERSECTION OF US 98 AND THE INFAMOUS 30A!  WE ARE LOOKING FOR FUN, ENERGETIC, PROFESSIONAL, POSITIVE & UPBEAT INDIVIDUALS TO JOIN OUR TEAM AT OUR UPSCALE ASIAN FUSION RESTAURANT, AJA 30A!Aja 30A is currently seeking exceptional candidates to join our service team.  We are searching for friendly, reliable, highly motivated individuals who will thrive in an upscale, team-oriented restaurant environment.
  • Restaurant experience is suggested but not required; in-depth on-the-job training provided from the onset.
  • We would welcome those with previous working history/experience at an Asian restaurant or have knowledge of Asian cuisine
  • Part-time and full-time positions available.  Open for dinner shifts only. Earning potential $250+ per shift, depending on season. Some weekend and holiday availability are required.  Minimum three shifts per week required.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Your primary goal as a server is to provide genuine hospitality to our Guests while guiding them through our food and beverage menus and demonstrating a thorough knowledge of our offerings.  In addition, our service team:
  • Reports to work on time in correct attire.  Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all shifts.
  • Completes all assigned opening and side work duties in a timely manner.
  • Sets up and restocks service stations before, during and after service.
  • Participates in the team-oriented atmosphere as trained.
  • Greets Guests immediately, makes suggestions and answers questions.  Practices salesmanship to enhance dining experience.  Establishes a rapport with Guests by learning and using Guests' names throughout the dining experience.
  • Processes orders using proper pivot point and food timing systems to ensure all items are prepared and served on a timely basis.
  • Performs timely quality checks to ensure that all food and beverages delivered meet the Guest's expectations.
  • Makes our Guests feel welcome by engaging with them and creating a lively and fun atmosphere.
  • Immediately recognizes and responds to any Guest needs and/or requests.
  • Clears and replaces items as needed for next course.
  • Maintains tables by pre-bussing/bussing any unused items.
  • Presents Guest's check in a timely manner with the utmost hospitality and professionalism by using the Guests' name.
  • Invites Guests to return in a genuine, heartfelt manner.
