Unarmed Security Officer - Full-Time (Everett, WA)

Location: Everett, WA
Pay Rate: $20-$22 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 9:45 AM - 6:00 PM
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and professional Unarmed Security Officers to support a retail location in Everett, WA. This role is ideal for individuals with strong situational awareness, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment in a public-facing setting.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter theft, disturbances, and unsafe behavior
  • Conduct routine patrols of the premises, including sales floor and back-of-house areas
  • Monitor activity and identify potential security or safety risks
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to incidents and service calls
  • Provide assistance, directions, and support to customers and store staff
  • Accurately document daily activities, incidents, and observations
  • Follow post orders and enforce site policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements
  • Valid Washington State Security Guard License (Required)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
  • Ability to remain alert and make sound decisions
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
  • Availability to work Wednesday-Sunday schedule

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior security experience in retail, corporate, or public-facing environments
  • CPR/First Aid certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
  • Military or public safety background
