Are you a skilled fire alarm technician ready to take your career to the next level? Vulcan Fire is seeking dedicated professionals to join our team of life safety experts. Were growing fast and looking for individuals who are passionate about protecting lives and committed to excellence.


Position Overview

Were hiring full-time technicians with strong experience in fire alarm systems. Ideal candidates will hold a NICET II certification or higher and a Denver Fire Alarm Installer Card (CSA). Youll thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment with clear production goals and opportunities to grow into senior roles.


Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret work orders, manuals, and diagrams
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Assist with inspections and testing of alarm systems and extinguishers (NFPA standards)
  • Maintain clean and organized job sites and fleet vehicles
  • Perform basic math and lift equipment up to 80 lbs
  • Safely operate ladders up to 28 ft
  • Participate in weekly safety trainings and use PPE
  • Learn construction phases, building codes, and NFPA 72
  • Use Honeywell CLSS software and mobile tools for system management
  • Accurately complete paperwork and manage inventory
  • Follow company vehicle policies and maintain safe driving habits


Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent attendance, punctuality, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Compliance with federal and state codes
  • Required: NICET II Certification, Denver Fire Alarm Installer Card
  • Preferred: Backflow Certification, additional licenses
  • Must pass a 10-panel drug test and a criminal background check
