Vice President of Advancement
Education Nonprofit
Eastern Pennsylvania - Hybrid (Flexible Schedule)
Salary Range: $105,000 to $120,000 per year, with potential flexibility based on experience
 
Terrific Vice President of Advancement (VP) position with an education focused nonprofit in Eastern Pennsylvania. The organization partners with school districts to provide support and resources, empowering students to stay in school and achieve in life. 
 
This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial fundraising professional looking to take the next step in their career, joining a leadership team and driving growth to advance the organization's mission. Individual contributors are welcome to apply.
 
The VP will report to the President & CEO, leading strategic and tactical fundraising efforts to grow the organization's approximately $1 million annual fundraising goal. The VP will manage and mentor a team of two.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership to secure donations through diverse funding streams, including individual giving, grants, corporate sponsorships, and events
  • Manage a portfolio of high-level donors and prospects
  • Develop strong relationships with donors and prospects to close annual and multi-year commitments
  • Develop fundraising metrics
  • Create and implement new fundraising and donor stewardship strategies
  • In collaboration with the CEO, serve as a liaison to committees and the Board of Directors
  • Collaborate with outside vendors for marketing initiatives
  • Manage and mentor a team of two
  • Travel as needed within the Eastern PA region
 
Qualifications:
  • Approximately 5-7+ years of relevant fundraising experience
  • Excited to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Desire to nurture relationships cross-functionally within the organization
  • Self-driven; can set and achieve goals independently, with the support of a team 
  • Mission-driven and entrepreneurial
  • Welcoming candidates ready for the next step in their fundraising career
  • High-level of self-accountability for fundraising
  • Ability to leverage metrics to drive fundraising goals
  • Experience with a donor CRM and utilizing fundraising data to drive strategy
